Trauma Therapy
EMDR
(Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing)

EMDR is a structured therapy which through bilateral stimulation you are able to reprocess and reduce the reactivity/reaction to an event, experience, or sensation. It works by targeting specific areas of your brain to support you in trauma recovery
EMDR is helpful for:

PTSD
OCD
Anxiety
Depression
Chronic Pain
Addiction
Eating Disorders
Negative Core Beliefs

EMDR can support a person in shifting negative self-beliefs, and free the mind of upsetting images, nightmares, memories, and debilitating emotions. It helps your rational brain stay online when a distressing and emotional reaction appears. EMDR is extensively researched and had been clinically proven as a tool to support the brain in healing.

Brainspotting (BSP)
Brain Spotting: is a trauma specific focus through movement and stillness of our eyes. We are able to access the primitive part of our brain through our retina (eyes) which allows us to access the deepest regions of our brain and thus, shifts our reflexive responses to traumatic experiences.

Brainspotting is helpful for:
Somatic and Emotionally based conditions
PTSD
Core Beliefs
Attachment based issues

Through the brainspotting process, you are able to identify, process, and release emotional and physical pain. We are able to ultimately reprocess and release unconscious memories. We are able to access and release conscious, unconscious, and memories that are stored without language.
